Unlike conventional high explosives which has a short self life (measured in months), AutoStemâ„¢ transports and stores safely and has a shelf life of eighteen months.

To confine energy in a blast-hole, conventional explosives must be tamped with stemming material. The time saving Dual Self-Stemmingâ„¢ feature of AutoStemâ„¢ eliminates both, the associated risks of tamping live explosives in a borehole and the potential of human error.
